Too Many to Blog So It Ends Up Like This

大家好!Hello Everyone! You know why I'm blogging right now? Because I have Mandarin test tomorrow and I'm trying to open my eyes and cram it out. Haha! This is so me.

Actually, I have had so many things to blog about, but is but. Well, you know, there're too many things until I didn't know which to pick first so I end up with nothing like now. Don't follow me, though, because it isn't good.

Bear with this post because it is going to be so random. So I guess you can tell now that I'm still alive. I mean Cambodia just had a big tragedy last Monday, November 22, 2010. A big stampede which killed hundreds of people on a confined bridge at Koh Pich (Diamond Island) during Water Festival in Phnom Penh City. This is considered as a number 1 stampede in the world so far. Hundreds of people were killed within a few hours. Yes, we're number 1. And not to mention about the Pol Pot regime. A stupid so-called democracy regime which killed millions of people in Cambodia from 1975-1979. 3years 8 months and 20 days in a hell-like without any interferences from the outside world. A regime which tortured and killed its own nation and other minority groups in the whole country. Yes, we're number 1 again for this one. Besides these tragedies, we also have great things to boast about which is Angkor Wat and other thousands of temples. Temples which today people can't re-build. We have ikat or pattern silk and etc., a type that is rare. It is a type which is hard to make. It is a type that is done by hands from the beginning until the end. It has been handed down from one generation to another even before the Angkor era. We don't draw, we weave the ikat or pattern. If you see the whole process of making it, you will know its true value. You won't even bargain when you buy it because it should worth more than it is now. We're number 1 with it again. etc. No wonder, Cambodia is a Kingdom of Wonder! From worst to best, we rule it all!

Haha, now that I skim through this post again, I feel like I'm advertising my country. Well, advertising both good and bad points.

Oh, during that Water Festival incident I was in Siem Reap with my parents. Siem Reap again? Yes, Siem Reap again. You know you can't beat elders when you're the only youngest. 2 vs. 1. Yes, Siem Reap! No complain, no bargain! As simple as that.

Don't you think that I should stop here and back to my cramming? Ah no! I don't want. Maybe I should hit my bed first. Good idea huh? Hehe, we'll see how things go then. Alright, sleep tight and have a great Monday everyone.

p.s.1. How many people love Mondays? I do only if it's a holiday! Haha

p.s.2. This seems like a joke, but it looks true. Koh Pich's (Diamond Island) acronym is:

Killed
Over
Hundreds

People
In
Cambodia's
Holiday!

My Country, My Urghhhhhhhhhh!

I was a patriot. I am a patriot. And I will always be a patriot. I love my country and I will always do. This fact will never change no matter what happens in the future.

BUT...

I hate the majority of the people here. I really do! No kidding! No joking! I hate them. I'm not a person who just goes around and hate people here and there. I'm quite liberal and carefree unless they really get on my nerves. Once, twice, or thrice is okay, but not more than that. I have my limit. No offense here, but why uneducated guys here are so jerky? Not all, but most of them. I really hate the way they look at girls. I hate the way they banter. I just hate everything about them.WTH! If there's a second Pol Pot, I hope these types would just die straight away. To some people who don't know about these people here might think I'm a racist or something, but let me tell you first. Every morning if you listen to the news, you will always hear about the raping case, robbing case, murder case, to name a few. And ya, apart from some of those high class who commit it also, these people I've mentioned share a large portion to involving or committing it. There's really nothing in their brains except those stupid things. These people should never have been born in the first place. This is a huge waste to the whole country as well as to the world. No matter how much people try to educate them, they will never accept it. They're prone to doing bad things more. Why there are so many of them here? I hope these people would go extinct very soon. Urghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cambodia Has Different Definitions of Fast Food Restaurants

I don't think this post will be long. I just want to let people know what I have experienced (more like suffered) with the fast food restaurants in my own country, Cambodia.

It wasn't my first time. It wasn't my second time. It was my many many times. If you're in a hurry and thinking of grabbing something to eat before heading to complete your task, don't go to fast food restaurants in Phnom Penh. Just don't! DON'T! Maybe I'm a jinx or something and you're a lucky star, but if you don't want to be late for your urgent work, better don't risk it. You may become a jinx like me. I have suffered many times with them already. It started with ordering your food until checking your bills. Everything's slow. I once had to wait more than 15 minutes with my friends just to order 3 burgers. We didn't even get to talk to the waitress or the order taker to tell her about our orders. She happily let us stood there in front of the counter while she was having a messy conversation with another customer about the delivery. We stood there waiting for like half an hour. What the heaven! So since our patience was negative that day, we decided to leave for another restaurant. And recently I went to have pizzas with my cousins and their lecturers. The checker took about 20 minutes to check our bills, not to mention about the long hours we'd spent ordering our food. This is so so urghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Skip this post if you've experienced different things. So far I rarely have any luck with them!
