Surprised!
On October last year, I blogged about one of my achievements. The post itself was a bit emotional, determined, and all. It was about how I won an English dictionary from the U.S Embassy's quiz on Facebook.
Yesterday someone from the embassy with the name, Craig, made a comment about that post. He kindly gave me another link for the new contest. This time is a photo contest. He then enclosed with (From, Your friends at the U.S. Embassy). This last sentence choked me. =) I am so happy that I now have friends from the U.S. Embassy. :) I can't believe that someone from the embassy would read it. I checked my Feedjit and it showed that the reader was from Virginia, U.S. So, I assumed that the embassy's server is located there. Hehe
I actually saw the announcement on Facebook about this new contest already. I even retweeted it in my Twitter account. However, I'm still surprised by his comment. I'm not going to question how they found my post and all, though, because I know how small the world is with this new technology, internet. I myself do that quite often, too. What important is that there are people who actually read my blog and that's more than enough to make my day more beautiful. :)
I have so many things to accomplish this month including this photo contest. I did a bit of brainstorming about it this afternoon, too. I'm going to finish one of my goals the latest by the day after tomorrow so that I can start focusing on this one. May God bless me! <3 Wohooo!!!

At Home In Prison
My current Facebook status is "at home, in prison". The meaning behind this phrase is that I'm not allowed to go out whenever or wherever or with whomever as much as I want to. It is for the so-called security reason that my parents always tell me so. I've been living with this reason until I think I hate my own country now. So I basically just wanted to express my thought that being at home is the same thing as being in prison. But some of my friends took it otherwise. One of them commented, "oh my goodness...," another one added, "so where you want to stay?" After seeing their comments, I was like what? What are they thinking already? Haha
I originally thought that I wouldn't reply to any comments for this status because I was in a bad mood, but after seeing their comments, I know I must defense myself before something even worse than this happens. Here is what I wrote back in reply to their comments on my status: ''don't get me wrong...what i meant was...I'm not allowed to go out as much as I want when I'm home... at home in prison! not that I commit
any crime or anything illegal. Haha''
One of them already replied with "lol"... I hope the other one will return to my status and see my reply, otherwise I'll be a criminal in his eyes forever. Haha
I also do hope that none of my blog's mates think the same thing when they first read out the title of this post. However, I have omitted a comma between ''at home'' and ''in prison'' where I didn't do so for my Facebook's one, thinking that maybe it's a grammatical error. And if it isn't, then it must be the phrase itself that drives people's thinking to the wrong way. Hehe
p.s. I should be more careful with whatever I post from now on to avoid any possible confusion.

Internet
I have registered my mobile phone to use internet service sometimes ago and I really want to use it because I don't have to sit in front of my laptop and all. I can sleep, eat, sit, stand, or do whatever and still able to use internet whenever I want to. I can take photo and post it straight away to my Facebook and twitter accounts or here. BUT the problem is my house already has an internet connection and I don't want to waste more money on my mobile internet. BUT I'm so lazy to transfer my photos in my mobile phone to my laptop and all. When it comes to photo thingy, mobile phone is more convenient. When it comes to longer text, laptop is easier. Argh, what should I do?
Below is what I took with my HTC Wildfire. ^_^ I have installed tons of photo applications so far. Android OS is the best. Love it! iOS is good, too, but they don't offer you that many free apps as Android does. Hehe

HTC Wildfire
Last time I blogged about wanting a new mobile phone. This post is going to be the second episode of my phone drama. After waiting, doing SWOT analysis, dreaming, calculating, and all, I decided to buy HTC Wildfire. It's not the one I dreamt about, but it's the most convenient one so far. My dream ones haven't released in Cambodia yet.
I bought my wildfire on March 20, 2011. I originally aimed for the red one. I called and checked the price and color to 4 shops in Cambodia. Three of the shops were being honest by telling me the real prices and the available colors in their shops. And compared to this one shop, Apsara Phone Shop, the other three were much higher in price. So I went all my way from home to Apsara thinking that it was the best one. Holy cow, they're cheating. When I arrived there, they said they had no red color and the price was somewhat similar to the other three. If I had known earlier, I wouldn't go there. I'm still mad thinking back about this. When I called them, they said the red color's available and the price's cheaper. And they changed the minute I arrived. Man! If I went alone, I would leave that place immediately and went to the other shops, but I went with my dad. I didn't want to disturb or take much of his free time. And you know what, I even boasted to him in the car that it was cheaper there this and that. Now what? Urghhh, I was so embarrassed! What a nice hoax! They said I mistook what they said. What a thick-skinned lady! I was so pissed off and I'm still pissed off, too. I however still ended up buying my black HTC Wildfire from there because I didn't want to make my dad drove all the way to the other side of the city to another shop. Great experience ever! Later when I call and ask those shops again, I will use call record application so that I can have my proof to defense myself. I was so gonna punch that lady in the face, but I held it in. So thick-skinned! lksdjflksajflakj
And one more thing, I will not buy anything from that shop again. Never again!
I actually had more to say, but now that I'm mad, my stories are all gone. My temper is so bad lately. I need to control it more. May God bless my temper and all.

Unproductive!
All I did today was reading and still I couldn't finish it. There are like 100 pages left. Tomorrow, I'm not going to put it as my first priority like today. I'll set it as my last option after I finish completing my other main tasks first. So unproductive today! Well, I at least get to blog or more like complain here. Haha
So, did you have an unproductive day like me? Yes please! I need some partners in crime with me. Hehe

Golden Bones
I'm currently sticking my nose and eyes with Golden Bones by Sichan Siv. It's one great inspirational book. After finishing half of the book, i feel so energetic. Life is once again worth living for me. Even though I don't know for how long this motivation of mine will last, but I want to keep it alive for a very long time, probably throughout my entire life. And I do wish I could be more selfish from now on. Right now I have reset my goals and I just can't wait to accomplish them when the day comes. I hate it when people bring me down while I'm trying so hard to cheer myself up every single day. Without intention or not, they do bring me down constantly and I so loathe it. I plan to re-read this book again after I finish reading it this time round. May my motivation last forever. Amen!
