Hello August,
Why are you here so fast? I'm not that ready yet. I don't know if I made the right decision or not, but I hope things will go as planned.
Anyway, July was treating me so good. I loved it. I've received a photography book from the U.S. Embassy. Thanks to my photo that was in the top 11. I did meet so many great friends there. Yeah, I had a very great time. I know I'm gonna miss it. Besides that, I had so many great events I attended with my mom dad cousins and all. It's really a great month so far.
Also, it helped me to realize that distant does mean a lot to relationship. I'm not talking about bf or gf relationship here. I'm talking about friends. We used to be so closed, like really really closed. After college, things started to change slowly. Now I know that only my family is my bestest friends. My once-I-called-closest-friends have become someone I almost don't know. Their words to you now are like sword. Anyway, what's done is done. It's not like I started it first or anything. Someday, they're gonna regret it. I'm not that awesome or anything, but my relationship to them is pure.
What else did I plan to write here? Er... Oh yeah, I plan to make a new blog for my new journey, but it's gonna be Wordpress. I'll link it here once it's done. It's going to be like a photo blog. That's still a plan, though. I'll update it more often. Promise. (^-^) Hehe
Stay tuned!
Until then, good night and may Gods bless me and all my beloved ones. :)

My So-Called Photo-Taking Skill
I always have a hard time coping with my mom's complaints when it comes to photo-taking thingy. Mom always says that my photo-taking skill is so horrible. No matter how much I try, I always end up swallowing all her complaints and blames. Sigh!
By the way, I just made it to the top 11 of a photo contest for the U.S Embassy. Even though I didn't get number 1, but still I was in the top 11 among the 200 something photos submitted. As for the last voting phase, I got number 10 (almost the last one among the top 11, but hey, it's still something, ok?) Or maybe if I really master this skill like my mom, maybe maybe maybe I'd crown it and get a laptop. -___- Ai yo!

Insomnia
I guess I'm aging because I start having insomnia too frequent these days. Well, it was pretty annoying at first, but now I think I've found my solution. How?
At first I tried reading my textbook and after awhile it worked like a magic. It took less than 15 minutes for me to fall asleep. Awesome!
Since my major involved 50% of business courses, I tend to have a business mindset, too. Time is money and 15 minutes worth a lot. So I came up with a better idea. I put my textbook under my pillow and tried to sleep. Can you believe it, it worked like a charm to me. This time I didn't have to waste 15 minutes anymore. I fell asleep straight away. ^-^
And guess what, I still haven't done and reviewed my assignments/lessons yet. You should know why... Haha -___-

Surprised!
On October last year, I blogged about one of my achievements. The post itself was a bit emotional, determined, and all. It was about how I won an English dictionary from the U.S Embassy's quiz on Facebook.
Yesterday someone from the embassy with the name, Craig, made a comment about that post. He kindly gave me another link for the new contest. This time is a photo contest. He then enclosed with (From, Your friends at the U.S. Embassy). This last sentence choked me. =) I am so happy that I now have friends from the U.S. Embassy. :) I can't believe that someone from the embassy would read it. I checked my Feedjit and it showed that the reader was from Virginia, U.S. So, I assumed that the embassy's server is located there. Hehe
I actually saw the announcement on Facebook about this new contest already. I even retweeted it in my Twitter account. However, I'm still surprised by his comment. I'm not going to question how they found my post and all, though, because I know how small the world is with this new technology, internet. I myself do that quite often, too. What important is that there are people who actually read my blog and that's more than enough to make my day more beautiful. :)
I have so many things to accomplish this month including this photo contest. I did a bit of brainstorming about it this afternoon, too. I'm going to finish one of my goals the latest by the day after tomorrow so that I can start focusing on this one. May God bless me! <3 Wohooo!!!
p.s. Craig, did you read this post, too? :)

At Home In Prison
My current Facebook status is "at home, in prison". The meaning behind this phrase is that I'm not allowed to go out whenever or wherever or with whomever as much as I want to. It is for the so-called security reason that my parents always tell me so. I've been living with this reason until I think I hate my own country now. So I basically just wanted to express my thought that being at home is the same thing as being in prison. But some of my friends took it otherwise. One of them commented, "oh my goodness...," another one added, "so where you want to stay?" After seeing their comments, I was like what? What are they thinking already? Haha
I originally thought that I wouldn't reply to any comments for this status because I was in a bad mood, but after seeing their comments, I know I must defense myself before something even worse than this happens. Here is what I wrote back in reply to their comments on my status: ''don't get me wrong...what i meant was...I'm not allowed to go out as much as I want when I'm home... at home in prison! not that I commit
any crime or anything illegal. Haha''
One of them already replied with "lol"... I hope the other one will return to my status and see my reply, otherwise I'll be a criminal in his eyes forever. Haha
I also do hope that none of my blog's mates think the same thing when they first read out the title of this post. However, I have omitted a comma between ''at home'' and ''in prison'' where I didn't do so for my Facebook's one, thinking that maybe it's a grammatical error. And if it isn't, then it must be the phrase itself that drives people's thinking to the wrong way. Hehe
p.s. I should be more careful with whatever I post from now on to avoid any possible confusion.

Internet
I have registered my mobile phone to use internet service sometimes ago and I really want to use it because I don't have to sit in front of my laptop and all. I can sleep, eat, sit, stand, or do whatever and still able to use internet whenever I want to. I can take photo and post it straight away to my Facebook and twitter accounts or here. BUT the problem is my house already has an internet connection and I don't want to waste more money on my mobile internet. BUT I'm so lazy to transfer my photos in my mobile phone to my laptop and all. When it comes to photo thingy, mobile phone is more convenient. When it comes to longer text, laptop is easier. Argh, what should I do?
Below is what I took with my HTC Wildfire. ^_^ I have installed tons of photo applications so far. Android OS is the best. Love it! iOS is good, too, but they don't offer you that many free apps as Android does. Hehe
p.s. I'm using home internet to blog this. >__<

HTC Wildfire
Last time I blogged about wanting a new mobile phone. This post is going to be the second episode of my phone drama. After waiting, doing SWOT analysis, dreaming, calculating, and all, I decided to buy HTC Wildfire. It's not the one I dreamt about, but it's the most convenient one so far. My dream ones haven't released in Cambodia yet.
I bought my wildfire on March 20, 2011. I originally aimed for the red one. I called and checked the price and color to 4 shops in Cambodia. Three of the shops were being honest by telling me the real prices and the available colors in their shops. And compared to this one shop, Apsara Phone Shop, the other three were much higher in price. So I went all my way from home to Apsara thinking that it was the best one. Holy cow, they're cheating. When I arrived there, they said they had no red color and the price was somewhat similar to the other three. If I had known earlier, I wouldn't go there. I'm still mad thinking back about this. When I called them, they said the red color's available and the price's cheaper. And they changed the minute I arrived. Man! If I went alone, I would leave that place immediately and went to the other shops, but I went with my dad. I didn't want to disturb or take much of his free time. And you know what, I even boasted to him in the car that it was cheaper there this and that. Now what? Urghhh, I was so embarrassed! What a nice hoax! They said I mistook what they said. What a thick-skinned lady! I was so pissed off and I'm still pissed off, too. I however still ended up buying my black HTC Wildfire from there because I didn't want to make my dad drove all the way to the other side of the city to another shop. Great experience ever! Later when I call and ask those shops again, I will use call record application so that I can have my proof to defense myself. I was so gonna punch that lady in the face, but I held it in. So thick-skinned! lksdjflksajflakj
And one more thing, I will not buy anything from that shop again. Never again!
I actually had more to say, but now that I'm mad, my stories are all gone. My temper is so bad lately. I need to control it more. May God bless my temper and all.
Good night everyone!

Unproductive!
All I did today was reading and still I couldn't finish it. There are like 100 pages left. Tomorrow, I'm not going to put it as my first priority like today. I'll set it as my last option after I finish completing my other main tasks first. So unproductive today! Well, I at least get to blog or more like complain here. Haha
So, did you have an unproductive day like me? Yes please! I need some partners in crime with me. Hehe
p.s. I don't have any p.s. today. Can't think of anything for this section! Sigh! What a day!

Golden Bones
I'm currently sticking my nose and eyes with Golden Bones by Sichan Siv. It's one great inspirational book. After finishing half of the book, i feel so energetic. Life is once again worth living for me. Even though I don't know for how long this motivation of mine will last, but I want to keep it alive for a very long time, probably throughout my entire life. And I do wish I could be more selfish from now on. Right now I have reset my goals and I just can't wait to accomplish them when the day comes. I hate it when people bring me down while I'm trying so hard to cheer myself up every single day. Without intention or not, they do bring me down constantly and I so loathe it. I plan to re-read this book again after I finish reading it this time round. May my motivation last forever. Amen!
p.s. this book is highly recommended! really really awesomely greatly amazingly incredibly interesting!

Japan
These are true stories shared by Japanese people via Twitter. They are translated by Jun Shiomitsu. Seriously, I feel even worse knowing that I can't do anything to help this most generous country and nation. I don't know how many trillions of dollars Japan has contributed to my country each year. My heart still sinks, as if it were the first time I heard the news about this horrible natural disaster, every time I watch TV or read the news about them. My prayers go out to all the Japanese people. May God protect each and everyone of them.

http://twitter.com/unosuke/status/46376846505426944
At Tokyo Disneyland:
Tokyo Disneyland was handing out its shops’ food and drinks for free to the stranded people nearby. I saw a bunch of snobby looking highschool girls walking away with large portions of it and initially though “What the …” But I later I found out they were taking them to the families with little children at emergency evacuation areas. Very perceptive of them, and a very kind thing to do indeed.
http://twitter.com/akitosk/status/46302222346223616
Message from the UN
Secretary General Ban Ki Moon: “Japan is one of (the UN’s) most generous and strongest benefactors, coming to the assistance of those in need the world over. In that spirit, the United Nations stands by the people of Japan and we will do anything and everything we can at this very difficult time.” I was moved at his words. What better example that good things happen to those who do good.
http://twitter.com/micakom/status/46264887281848320
At a congested downtown intersection …
Cars were moving at the rate of maybe one every green light, but everyone was letting each other go first with a warm look and a smile. At a complicated intersection, the traffic was at a complete standstill for 5 minutes, but I listened for 10 minutes and didn’t hear a single beep or honk except for an occasional one thanking someone for giving way. It was a terrifying day, but scenes like this warmed me and made me love my country even more.
http://twitter.com/gj_neko26/statuses/46394706481004544
During the earthquake
We’ve all been trained to immediately open the doors and establish an escape route when there is an earthquake. In the middle of the quake while the building was shaking crazily and things falling everywhere, a man made his way to the entrance and held it open. Honestly, the chandelier could have crashed down any minute … that was a brave man!
http://twitter.com/yunico_jp/status/46168394755612672
Bus stop mini episode:
It was freezing and bus was taking ages to arrive. “@saiso” left the queue to run to a nearby pharmacy. He bought heating pads and gave one to everyone in the queue!
http://twitter.com/kfstudio/status/46390032776437760
Thank you Tokyo Disney Sea
My daughter who was staying at DisneySea just made it back home! Many, many thanks to the staff who worked very hard in the cold with ready smiles that made her to feel safe and secure during the entire night. They brought her food, drinks, snacks, heating pads, and anything necessary to ensure she was comfortable and secure throughout her stay. I was touched by the Disney staff’s warmth and hospitality. Thank you so much!
http://twitter.com/VietL/status/46376383592677376
Reminded of the goodness of the Japanese people
This earthquake has reminded me of that Japanese goodness that had recently become harder and harder to see. Today I see no crime or looting: I am reminded once again of the good Japanese spirit of helping one another, of propriety, and of gentleness. I had recently begun to regard my modern countrymen as cold people … but this earthquake has revived and given back to all of us the spirit of “kizuna” (bond, trust, sharing, the human connection). I am very touched. I am brought to tears.
http://twitter.com/aquarius_rabbit/status/46213254376210432
Card board boxes, Thank you!
It was cold and I was getting very weary waiting forever for the train to come. Some homeless people saw me, gave me some of their own cardboard boxes and saying “you’ll be warmer if you sit on these!” I have always walked by homeless people pretending I didn’t see them, and yet here they were offering me warmth. Such warm people.
http://twitter.com/kiritansu/status/46335057689980928
What foreigners are saying about Japanese people
At a supermarket where everything was scattered everywhere over the floors, shoppers were helping pick them up and putting them back neatly on the shelves before quietly moving into line to wait to pay for them. On the totally jam-packed first train after the quake, an elderly man gave up his seat for a pregnant woman. Foreigners have told me they are amazed witnessing sights like these. I do believe they actually saw what they said they saw. Japan is truly amazing.
http://twitter.com/V10CENTAURO/statuses/46388641001508864
Information network this time around
The information sharing efforts on Twitter or USTREAM, together with the quality of coverage and crucial updates provided by the mass media this time around is incomparable to what we got during the Kobe earthquake. I am deeply impressed by Japan’s successful efforts and ability to put to practice lessons learnt from past tragedies.
http://twitter.com/izumi823/statuses/46387948681297920
Touch of art
I saw artists and painters trying to keep things upbeat by painting or drawing beautiful or encouraging drawings for the evacuees around them. I was touched at how everyone was doing their very best to help.
* BBCの報道
http://twitter.com/bozzo1985/status/46228470614855681
BBC Reports
The words of BBC’s reports are so moving they make me cry. They were praising us with words of admiration! “One of the worst earthquakes in recorded history has hit the world’s most well-prepared, well-trained nations. The strength of its government and its people are put to the test. While there have been casualties, in no other country could the government and the people have worked together in such an accurate and coordinated way in the face of such tragedy. The Japanese people have shown their cultural ability to remain calm in the face of adversity.”
http://twitter.com/s_hayatsuki/status/46386255767937024
A little story about Papa
We live in an area that was not directly hit. When my father came downstairs and heard the news saying that our area had begun allocating electricity to the hard-hit areas, he quietly led by example, turning off the power around the house and pulling the plugs out of their sockets. I was touched. He usually NEVER turns off the lights or the AC or the TV or anything!
http://twitter.com/HASUNA_Natsuko/status/46331839136276480
http://twitpic.com/48kn1u
Japanese people don’t shove
I'm looking at Yurakucho station from above. I see people standing in line, not pushing or shoving to get onto the Yamanote Line (probably the busiest line in central Tokyo), even at a time like this!
* パン屋
http://twitter.com/ayakishimoto/statuses/46403599743451136
The bakery lady
There was a small bread shop on the street I take to go to school. It has long been out of business. But last night, I saw the old lady of the shop giving people her handmade bread for free. It was a heart-warming sight. She, like everyone else, was doing what she could to help people in a time of need. Tokyo isn’t that bad afterall!
http://twitter.com/tksksks/statuses/46403815397801984
Japan is a wonderful nation!
Both the government and the people, everyone is helping one another today. There are truck drivers helping evacuees move. I even heard that the “yakuza” (gangsters, organized crime groups) are helping to direct traffic in the Tohoku region! There have been many recent developments that have made me lose my sense of pride in my country, but not anymore. Japan is an amazing place! I’m just simply touched. Go Japan!

Twitter is amazing!
The information shared to us all by the twitter community has been amazingly consistent with each other and has been so helpful. Thank you Twitterers! I’m very moved. People recently talk about social networks replacing traditional social life and making people cold and unsociable in real life. But … I guess that’s not true at all.
http://twitter.com/sikkoku_otsuyu/status/46392832893796352
From a German friend
A German friend of mine was in Shibuya (downtown Tokyo shopping district) when the earthquake hit. He was panicking when a Japanese passerby saved him, taking him into a building. My friend was blown away at how calm and disciplined this Japanese man was. He went out of the building with firm, unfaltering steps, did everything he was trained to do and came back. My German friend was deeply impressed by the Japanese people’s actions during the earthquake, saying they looked like a trained army.

At the supermarket
I just came back safely from the supermarket! Man, I was so touched at how everyone there was mindful of others, buying only as much as they needed and leaving the rest for the people behind them.
http://twitter.com/Raaaaayuu/statuses/46392890313801728
Gotenba traffic
Japan is really something! Yesterday, not a single traffic light was functioning in Gotenba City. But drivers knew to take turns at intersections and give way to others when needed. Local people were using flags to direct traffic at intersections. I drove for 9 hours but never saw a single car trying to get in front of another. Every single driver on the road contributed to the traffic situation and as a result there was no confusion at all.
* 「みんな」
http://twitter.com/n_yum/statuses/46388003706380288
“All of us”
I spoke with an old taxi driver and some elderly staff at the train stations. All of them had been working non-stop and had not been able to go home for a long time. They were visibly very tired, but never once did they show any sign of impatience; they were gentle and very caring. They told me “… because all of us are in this together.” I was touched at what the notion of “all of us” meant to these elderly people. It is a value I will treasure and carry on to my generation.
http://twitter.com/dita_69/status/46309373458382849
A strong Japan
Suntory Beverages has set up free vending machines. Softbank Telephone services is offering free Wifi spots. Everyone in Japan is putting everything they can into helping one another. Japan is also now receiving aid from abroad. Compared to the Kobe earthquake, when Japan took too long to contemplate accepting foreign aid or dispatching the self-defense force to join the rescue effort, Japan has definitely grown into a far stronger nation. Be strong, everyone!
* 朝礼

Morning Ceremony
At the shopping center I work at, every morning we have a ritual (common in Japan) where we stand and recite, “No matter what the situation, I will never show anxiety before my customer; in all customer-facing situations I will treat my customers with respect and do everything I can to make them feel comfortable and at ease”. Today, these words were all actually kind of touching. Well, so the day begins! Here we go people, open shop!

Lessons Learnt
What caught my attention on twitter is that a lot of the tweets were about the Kobe earthquake and how what we have learned from it has been put into practice this time around. I know it goes without saying, but I was once again reminded of how humans are indeed creatures that possess the amazing ability to think and learn from experience. It’s a great thought.

Message from a friend in Rome
My friend in Rome emailed me. He said that people in Rome are watching the news and sharing their amazement and their heartfelt respect at how, even at a time like this, the people of Japan are able to remain calm and systematically respond to the situation. People in Rome are thinking of us and are very concerned for us.

A strong voice
Yesterday, I was impressed and touched by the actions of my neighbor’s 13-year-old-boy. He was home alone when the earthquake hit. But instead of hiding, as soon as the earthquake quieted down, he jumped on his bicycle and road around the block repeatedly shouting at the top of his voice, “Is everyone alright? Is everyone okay?” At the time, there were only women and children and the elderly in the homes. I cannot describe how comforting it was just to hear a strong voice asking if I was okay. Thank you!

The beauty of helping one another
I went out last night to help some friends who were volunteering as security personnel between Machida City and Sagami Ohno City. I saw total strangers, both young and old, helping each other along everywhere I turned and was heartened with an overwhelming feeling of encouragement. I was so touched I hid behind the toilets and cried.

I just have a bike
I’m so touched! My colleague at my part time job, wanting to help even just one extra person, wrote a sign saying “I just have a bike, but if you don’t mind hop on!”, rode out on his motorbike, picked up a stranded construction worker and took him all the way to Tokorozawa! Respect! I have never felt so strongly that I want to do something helpful for others.

Sharing your ride
It was stupid of me to think I could catch a cab at Urawamien Station. I ended up walking 30 minutes and then finally was picked up by a stranger who offered to give me a lift. I’m touched by the warmth of human kindness. Thank you, thank you!

Rest here!
Last night, I decided, rather than stay at the office, I should try walking home. So I slowly made my way west on Koshu freeway on foot. It was around 9PM when I saw an office building that had a sign that said “Please use our office’s bathrooms! Please rest here!” The employees of the office were loudly shouting out the same to all the people trying to walk home. I was so touch I felt like crying. Well, I guess I was too tense yesterday to cry, but now the tension is wearing off and am very much in tears.

At the convenience store
While most of the convenience stores near the station were closed because of the quake, there was just one Seven Eleven that was open. The employees had lit lots of candles and put them on the stores shelves. The cash register was not working and they could not take inventory, so the employees worked in threes, one reading up the item description and price, another punching the numbers into a calculator, and the last one using a flashlight to help them work. The store managed to operate both “cash registers” efficiently this way. Impressed!

On the way to the emergency evacuation area
My oldest daughter was making her way to Yokohama’s emergency evacuation area. Total strangers were helping each other out and showing each other the way to the emergency evacuation area. She told me she was moved at how strangers, who can seem so cold at times, showed her kindness and care. I was reminded at the Japanese peoples’ inherent ability to immediately unite in the face of adversity. Today, I have discovered a newfound faith in my nation and my people.

A big, kind voice
I’ve been walking for many hours now. I’m touched at how everywhere I turn, there are shops open with people shouting “Please use our bathroom!” or “Please rest here!” There were also office buildings where people with access to information were voluntarily shouting out helpful tips, like “**** line is now operational!” Seeing things like this after walking for hours and hours made me feel like weeping with gratitude. Seriously, there is still hope for this country!
http://twitter.com/masa_kisshie/statuses/46323838316843008
On the platform
The Oedo Subway Line for Hikarigaoka is very congested. On the platform and at the gate there are just crowds and crowds of people waiting for the train. But in all the confusion, every last person is neatly lined up waiting his or her turn while managing to keep a passage of space open for staff and people going the other way. Everyone is listening to the instructions from the staff and everyone acts accordingly. And amazingly … there isn’t even a rope or anything in sight to keep people in queue or open space for staff to pass, they just do! I am so impressed at this almost unnatural orderliness! I have nothing but praise for these people!

Station staff
I said to a Tokyometro station staff who was on all-night duty, “I’m sure it has been a tough night for you. Thank you.” He responded with a smile, “On a night like this, gladly!” I was touched.

Coffee
My husband finally got home very late last night after walking for 4 hours. He told me he felt like giving up at around Akabane, when an elderly man who was going around handing out free coffee saw him, gave him a steaming cup and said, “You must be tired and cold. Here, have some coffee!” My husband told me that it was because of this elderly man that he found the will and strength to continue walking. I’ve already heard this story from him five times tonight, so no doubt he was really, really touched! Thank you to my husband’s anonymous helper!

Blood donations
Japan is strong! At Osaka I saw a LONG line of people waiting to give blood at the blood donation center. This is the first time I have seen such a queue of selfless people waiting patiently in line just to give. It was a moving sight! To everyone in the hard-hit areas, we your countrymen accept your suffering as our own and we share in your grief. Do not give up! Stay strong!

Saving electricity for the North
I went to my neighborhood supermarket and was initially surprised that their neon signs were off. They usually are open till 1AM. I then found out that they were open, but were saving electricity so that more power could be channeled to the hard-hit coastal areas. Wow!

Not enough money!
At the store where I work, a huge group of young men suddenly came in to buy booze. One of them suddenly said, “Oops, I only have enough money to buy booze, I can’t donate! Forget the booze, maybe next time!” and instead put ALL his money into the disaster relief donation box. One by one, every single one of the army of youths threw all their money into the box after him. What a heart-warming sight that was!

Goth youth
A goth youth with white hair and body piercings walked into my store and shoved several hundred dollars (several tens of thousands of yen) into the disaster relief fund donation box. As he walked out, I and people around me heard him saying to his buddies, “I mean, we can buy those games anytime!” At that, we all opened our wallets and put our money into the donation box. Really, you cannot judge people by their appearances.

They looked absolutely delicious!
I too saw the guy handing out free rice balls and miso soup on the way back from Akihabara. I was on my bicycle so I told him, “I’m okay, please give it to other people!” On hindsight, I should have taken one … they looked absolutely delicious!!

Another Disney episode
Amazing! My brother just managed to get home from Disneyland right now. He’s got bags and bags of free sweets. Furthermore, Disneyland paid for every customer’s travel fare back. All night long, the staff responded immediately and fully to every request he made. Disneyland is truly a world class brand!

Same boat!
Last night, Aobadai station was jammed with stranded people unable to get home. But there were private cars with drivers shouting “If you’re going in the direction of ****, please hop on!” I was able to hitch a ride on one of them. When I thanked the driver, he replied “No worries! We’re all on the same boat. We have to stick together!”

Need to charge your phone?
At the emergency evacuation area, a young first-year intern at my company who had brought her phone’s charger got permission from the facility to use their power socket and went around shouting “Anyone need to charge their phone? Please use my charger!” Just a little thing, but I was touched.

Touch of art
I saw artists and painters trying to keep things upbeat by painting or drawing beautiful or encouraging drawings for the evacuees around them. I was touched at how everyone was doing their very best to help.
* BBCの報道
http://twitter.com/bozzo1985/status/46228470614855681

I'm looking at Yurakucho station from above. I see people standing in line, not pushing or shoving to get onto the Yamanote Line (probably the busiest line in central Tokyo), even at a time like this!
* パン屋
http://twitter.com/ayakishimoto/statuses/46403599743451136

* 「みんな」

“All of us”
I spoke with an old taxi driver and some elderly staff at the train stations.
* 朝礼

Another Disney episode
Amazing! My brother just managed to get home from Disneyland right now. He’s got bags and bags of free sweets. Furthermore, Disneyland paid for every customer’s travel fare back.

Those So-Called Cell Phones
I've been sticking with my so-called Nokia N73 for like half a decade already. And now that it wants to bid farewell to me, like it or not, I have to buy a new one. And here comes the problems! After checking, browsing, asking, calculating, sleeping, and dreaming about them now, I'm so depressed. The cell phones I love either out of stock or hasn't released in Cambodia yet. What the heaven! Why can't I just wait then? Well, I can, but whenever I want something, I really want it now, right now, right here! Arghhh! Tell you what, I've been waiting anxiously for a week already and thought I could get it today, but still a NO! *sigh*
Anyway, it seems like the only available option I have now is iPhone. And if I can't get the latest one, which is iPhone 4, I would rather not buy it. The problem is not with the money. I can afford it with my own saving cash, but I don't think my parents will be happy to see me spending money over such expensive things. Mom and dad always say that, in the new few months they will release another new version so on and so forth. You will never be able to catch them. And it's true and maybe that's the reason I've been stuck with my N73 for half a decade. Haha
Thinking about it again, if I continue to keep that idea in mind, I don't think I will be able to experience any new technologies anymore. *sob sob*
What should I do now? Continue waiting? Man, waiting is really really unhealthy to me. I hate it. I thought that it was easy to shop in my own country, but I guess I was wrong. Totally wrong! If I know everything would be like this, I would broke myself every month back then. I really want to fly there and buy it now. Enough said. But I really hope they import it to Cambodia faster and sooner. Next week please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why do they take so long to import it? That phone released last month. It should be here already.
How slow!
p.s. I just hope my N73 won't RIP before my new one arrives! Please!

Be Self-Absorbed
Self-absorbed, self-centered, selfish...if you use it in a right way, it will help reduce pain. The pain that other people are constantly giving. Put yourself before others so that you won't hurt yourself and you won't give others permission to hurt you. Don't expect anything from anyone. Be independent. Don't set anyone as your priority. Don't create any memories with anyone. Don't try to befriend with people/human beings. They will never fail to fail you. Love/like/think/miss yourself more than anyone else. If you can obtain all of these, even though it does feel lonely, you will realize that you have less pain than before.
Be self-absorbed/self-centered/selfish I!

Sometimes when I don't talk it doesn't mean I'm okay.
Sometimes when I don't talk it doesn't mean I agree with you.
Sometimes when I don't talk it doesn't mean I don't know what crime you're committing.
Sometimes when I don't talk it doesn't mean I don't know you're stealing everything from me.
Sometimes when I don't talk it doesn't mean I don't know you're stabbing me from behind.
Sometimes when I don't talk it doesn't mean I'm dumb and don't know what you're doing.
Sometimes when I don't talk it doesn't mean I'm going to forgive you.

I Was versus I Am
It's already 11:35 PM and I'm still awake. It's not that I have insomnia or anything, it's just that I don't want to go to sleep now. Why? I feel like it's a waste? Haha, not exactly, but I just want to be productive, I just want to do something useful at least once per day. And no, I'm not going to study for my Chinese anyway because my class is on Monday. There are still 4 days more. Hehe
Well, after sitting hours in front of my laptop thinking of what to write, I came up with this idea. Reflection! It's about me in the past and me in the present. Precisely, me before college and me after college. Should we start off with something nice first?
- I was thoughtless/naive ------------------ I am thoughtful (too thoughtful sometimes I think. I tend to over think most of the time now. This is so not good.)
- I was a study-hard student -------- I am a study-smart student now (too smart sometimes until I almost die after each final or test because I only cram/study the night before the actual exam/test date.)
- I was fairer/whiter ---------------- I am pretty dark these days. However, I'm still the fairest/whitest among my best friends. Haha
- I didn't know how to shop or buy anything --------------- I am a professional shopper now. And this will lead to the next point. I don't think this is something I should be proud of anyway.
- I was a very good saver ---------- I am so good at spending nowadays. See, I told you this is a disaster!
- I was more considerate towards people's feeling --------- I am less considerate towards it now. I don't really like to go around the bush anymore. I tend to say what I feel even though I know I'd regret it afterward, but I'd rather say it out and explain it or say my apology later. I have too much going on inside me already so if it's not that necessary to hold it back, I'll say it out straightaway. Please understand that if someday I do that to you! If you can't stand me, you're welcome to do the same. And if I can't stand your response, I can just walk away to avoid 'an eye for an eye will make the whole world blind'. As simple as that! Hehe
- I Me Myself Mine My was my priority ------------------ My parents are my priority.
- My standard about something/someone was pretty low ------------ My standard about that something/someone is very high now until I think I will be single for the rest of life. Haha

Now that I finish writing about it, I have a feeling that I've written something similar to this post in the past. See, my memory is in critical condition now! I should really stop to over think about things.
Okay, I think I shall hit my sack now. Good night!
Hehe

My Face Color
There are times when I'm embarrassed or shy and my face would turn red/pink. It's pretty normal when our faces change to red/pink color when we feel shy or embarrassed for whatever reason, but sometimes it's just a leftover or simply from the heat and people judge it otherwise. That situation is really awkward. Sometimes people won't even believe your explanation and I'm so tired of it.
My face can easily turn to red/pink color when I'm in the heat. My face turns to red/pink color when I feel embarrassed or shy or etc. about something. Sometimes I myself don't even know the reason. Well, the point is people like to interpret it in the wrong way. There was a time when I went to the hair salon to have my hair shampoo and the staff there kept questioning me about my face like I was their prisoner or something. I was watching a sad movie (a movie about a loyal dog and its master) and almost moved to tears before heading to that salon. So my face turned red/pink since I was home and the color was still there on my face when I reached the salon. When I reached there, I simply became their target. What the heaven! I patiently explained to them the reason behind it. One after another and there's plenty of them. The moment the new one entered, they started questioning about my face color. Grrrr! They thought I used make-up and that was (and is and will be) one of the responses I hate the most. I, 23 years old, haven't used make-up even for once yet and if I were to use it one day, I won't make my face become a clown either. It's really annoying when people think that. And this morning, there's another misunderstanding happened. I paid a visit to the dentist. While he's performing his job, I wanted to cough, but I tried to hold it back. I held it back until my tears rolled down and my face became red/pink. When he and his assistant saw that, they were completely in terror. They thought I was hurt and trying to find the mishap. It's pretty funny, though. I wanted to tell them the reason, but I was too lazy and moody to do so. Should I explain to them next week when I go there again? Too late already, right? Yeah, I think so. I'll definitely tell them if it were to happen again anyway.
Some people say that it's cute to have such face, but I think it's a burden or more like a sin. You can't hide your true feeling and you may receive a mountain of misjudgment or misinterpretation from that.

p.s. For some reason, I think it's a disease. Think so?

After a Hot Shower
I am not the type to surrender the cold temperature or such. These last few weeks the temperature is pretty good. It's about 25 degrees celsius. Almost everyone here is wearing jackets and sweaters, though. I still wear my t-shirt and pants anyway. I am an anti-summer person so I survive better during winter. However, my mom asked me if I shower hot or cold water. I told her I never have hot shower, mom. I am very fine with this temperature. I'd fall sick if it's summer. I'm really fine, mom. Mom then told me to have hot shower because she's afraid I may fall sick. I followed her advice even though I hate hot shower. I was very okay before that hot shower. About 12 hours later after that hot shower, the cold symptoms arose within me. I started sneezing several times. I tried to sleep this afternoon thinking that I'd get better after waking up, but heaven no. Right now, I even start to have mucus. This is so not good. That hot shower! Grrrrrrrrrrr!
I'm pretty sure that tomorrow when I tell my mom I've caught a cold, my mom will start blaming on my t-shirt so and so, but not that hot shower. I rarely have cold during winter. I have it more during summer. That hot shower is really urghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
p.s. I wish myself a speedy recovery, anyway!

My Blog Was on a Day Off
I was trying to change my blog template the day before yesterday. I got some influence from the WordPress themes so I wanted this one to have one of my favorite WordPress themes. I wanted this one to have the Albeo theme, but it didn't have, so I decided to go with the Bueno one which I am having it for my WordPress blog thinking that I'd change my WordPress theme to Albeo instead. The modification process went fine until I tried to add the Twitter and Facebook like button to this blog. After I clicked 'save the template' and clicked 'view blog', I got a blank white page. I tried to refresh it, but nothing worked out. I then accessed it using Chrome instead of my default Firefox browser, still nothing showed up. I didn't give up so I opened Internet Explorer and tried access my blog with it, but man that blank page showed up again. I was pretty shocked. I thought I must have done something wrong to the modification. It was 5PM something when it happened and I was pretty tired by then after sitting hours choosing and editing my template so I decided to continue with it at night after my dinner and shower. I then shut down my laptop and went on having my dinner and shower, etc.
My nightmare started after I turned on my laptop and continued doing what I was doing. Right now I couldn't even access my dashboard. Not only that, I couldn't even access any of the blogspot.com websites. All I got was blank pages. I was in a complete terror. I knew I didn't love my blog that much, but after realizing that it could be gone forever, my heart stopped beating for awhile, literally speaking of course. I began going to forum after forum searching for answers to my problems. For one second, I came up with something. I used my mobile phone to try access to my blog and dashboard. I could access my dashboard from my mobile phone, but not my blog. I then knew that something is wrong with my laptop and/or my internet connection and/or ISP. After sometimes I knew that I wasn't the only one who's dreaming this nightmare, but it looked to me that I'm the only worst one who can't access both the dashboard and the blogs. I posted my problems to the Google forum for blogger and tried to read other people's solutions which were similar to mine. I tried all that I could. I slept around 3AM that night with nothing worked out. After waking up and all, I started my mission again. I did this. I did that. And all of the sudden around 4PM I was able to access my dashboard. Well, I didn't know which caused that because I did so many things as suggested from people on the forum. I was happy, but still I couldn't access my blog as well as other blogspot.com websites. The only way to access them for me was to use the free proxy. I found out so many useful websites while trying to wake up from this nightmare. I don't know if I should be thankful for that or not. Hahaha
I had high hope now after my dashboard was back. I tried to do this and that again. I rebooted my laptop several times as well and at one point, my internet connection was down. I thought it could be my mistake again. It was 11PM something already so I decided to go sleep after a long day with this horrible nightmare. I woke up and came straight to my laptop and tried to connect my internet. It's back. I was happy. After that I went on my day as usual. Around 2PM I continued with my nightmare mission again. Hurray, now I could access both my dashboard, my blogs and any other of the blogspot.com websites. I could say that I was on cloud nine. Without doing anything much this time, my blog's back. I think I really love my blog now. Hahaha
I now don't really dare edit anything. I'd use free proxy if I want to edit something so that when something's wrong again, my IP address can't be blocked or whatsoever. However, I just hope this problem won't arise again. As of now, I cannot access one of the websites which I always can. I can access it from my mobile phone, though. So I start to think that this nightmare is pretty contagious now.
p.s. Dear nightmare, please end soon. I am not in any conditions where I can afford multiple nightmares right now. Please understand!
